Well, What an afternoon. The whole school went to the Village Hall to watch 5 Pop Acts perform their ESafety songs. The event was hosted by Dermot O’Stonham and we had special guest judges – Simon Cowell and Nicole Sherzinger to watch over proceedings. After nearly 3 months of rehearsing and learning words, the pop stars took their place on stage and wowed the crowd. A big thank you to all the children who took part in the show, and the families and governors who came to support the event! All the songs had an Esafety message and 2 were written by the pupils themselves! Da iawn pawb! Continue reading →

We had some interesting visitors in nursery today. Mrs Cusack very kindly brought her chicks over for a visit. The children were very excited and couldn’t wait to hold them. They were very gentle and very quiet not to frighten them. The children thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the chicks. Diolch Mrs Cusack.
We had an awful lot of fun in Year 5 this afternoon! Our main task was to research anything we hadn’t covered in our KWL Grid from the start of term! During the afternoon we had an Easter Egg Hunt! The children had to scan QR codes and work out the clues in order to find where the next QR code was, ultimately leading them to Creme Eggs 🍳! We also had a visit from the Year 2 chicks during the afternoon 🐥 . Enjoy the photos! Continue reading →
