Using our imaginations 💡

This week, we have been using our imaginations in Year 5. We have listened to the sound from a short movie, which the children have not been allowed to see. Following this, the children discussed what could be happening, then they created 2 characters based on what they thought they heard and imagined. On Thursday, we used our figurative language skills to create the setting that we thought the film could be set in. Finally, today, the children were given random screenshots of the film and were tasked with putting them in the order they thought they should go, based on the sounds heard. Then they composed a story based on this. The short film will finally be revealed to them next week and they can see how close they were with their story creations.
