    We have been learning how to stay safe near water in Year 1. We have had lots of discussions about what we need to remember when near any type of water, such as swimming pools, rivers/lakes and the sea…hopefully this knowledge will help to keep us even more safe in the summer months ahead.

    This morning Year 6 were in for a treat…4 new teachers! Our digital leaders taught the rest of the class to take part in an online quiz called Kahoot.     Reception are completely MAD especially when it comes to minibeasts! The children listened to a fabulous story, and went off to hunt for some of their favourite minibeasts. The children were expert investigators, finding slugs, snails, worms, wood lice we even saw a bumble bee buzzing past!

    We had a surprise visitor in nursery today. Chris, the local PCSO, called in to see us.  He had heard how well behaved the children were so he decided to pop in and see us. Some of the boys and girls even got to try on his police uniform.

  • Sports Carousels Fun For Sports Relief

    Key stage 2 have had a fantastic morning participating in a rotation of activities. These included netball, hockey, hoolahooping and CrossFit. The children were able to practise a variety of skills and they all thoroughly enjoyed. A huge thank you to Owen from CrossFit and Gavin from Sports Development Swansea.

  • Sports Relief a Real Hit

    Sports relief this morning was a hit. Ozzie Osprey also got stuck in with the sports this morning. The teachers highlight of the day however was winning 4-1 to the pupils… not that we were extremely competative at all!

    Reception have been hard at it using up their energy, concentration and balance to complete some laps on the balance – bikes.

  • Sports Relief has begun!

    Reception are off to a good start! We have begun our sporty day with some yoga… we are now off to practise our balance on special bikes!

  • Who has ATTITUDE?

    This is the second week of our year 6 entrepreneurs club ‘Attitude’. The group runs a variety of activities, this week the pupils got a chance to show off the dance moves with just dance… warming up for Sports Relief tomorrow.

  • Awesome Athletes

    Congratulations to our athletics team who competed at the indoor event on Friday evening at the indoor track, Ashleigh Road. The competition was high but our pupils stepped up to the mark, we are proud of you all.

    As part of our Fairytales topic, Reception have been busy planting. We got out the soil, beans, gloves and trowels.. We set to work! We hope to get some very large beanstalks, and maybe even get to climb one!
