- Diwrnod Shwmae yn Blwyddyn 2
On Monday, the Year 2 children enjoyed celebrating Diwrnod Shwmae. The event aims to show that the Welsh language belongs to us all – fluent speakers, learners or those shy about their Welsh. The children made colourful Shwmae banners to promote the Welsh language, and enjoyed using Shwmae in their conversations throughout the week.
For Nursery and Reception today, we found out what it means to be a friend. We played some circle time games encouraging us to find new, old, or different friends to work with. - Book Fair Success!
A huge ‘Thank You’ to everybody who supported our Scholastic book fair this week. The total spent was £789.30, which means we will receive 60% commission on all purchases! This works out as £473.58 which we can spend on purchasing new reading material for the children. Diolch yn fawr everybody. Your support is greatly appreciated!
- Fabulous Faces!
Reception have been exploring the features on their faces, we looked at some faces without eyes and mouths, the children decided that we needed both to work out how we feel. We had some fun creating our own faces using pumpkins and biscuits, yummy!
