The nursery children have been busy having lots of fun today. As it was such a lovely day they had their P.E lesson outdoors. To develop their hand eye coordination they practised throwing and catching. They also practised balancing bean bags and quoits, and rolling hoops.They’ll be ready when sports day arrives!

- Topic Entry – Space and Flight
The children started their day by activating their prior knowledge related to Space and Flight. Pupils read books on Get Epic and recalled the new information read. We then experimented the effect of gravity and flight. Pupils created paper planes and measured the distance of flight.
- Party Time in Nursery

We had some interesting visitors in nursery today. Mrs Cusack very kindly brought her chicks over for a visit. The children were very excited and couldn’t wait to hold them. - Dividing with Remainders in Year 2
Today the Year 2 children have shown fantastic maths skills. We have been investigating halving numbers, using dividing by 2. The nursery children have been using numicon to learn about one to one correspondence. The activities have helped the children to put value to numbers. - Sports Carousels Fun For Sports Relief
Key stage 2 have had a fantastic morning participating in a rotation of activities. These included netball, hockey, hoolahooping and CrossFit. The children were able to practise a variety of skills and they all thoroughly enjoyed. A huge thank you to Owen from CrossFit and Gavin from Sports Development Swansea.
- Sports Relief a Real Hit
Sports relief this morning was a hit. Ozzie Osprey also got stuck in with the sports this morning. The teachers highlight of the day however was winning 4-1 to the pupils… not that we were extremely competative at all!

Reception have been hard at it using up their energy, concentration and balance to complete some laps on the balance – bikes.
