In Science this term, we have been studying the transportation of water in plants. The children have learnt all about the importance of the roots and the stem and how they transport nutrients around the flower. To demonstrate this, we have set up a ‘Rose’ experiment to try and answer the question “Does temperature affect the speed in which water is transported through a flower?” – the children have made some fantastic predictions!
Throughout the week, the children will observe the roses carefully and record any changes that they notice in a table. Well done boys and girls – I wonder if your predictions will be correct!
