On Saturday, October 10th, it is World Mental Health Day. The Year 3’s marked this occasion in class today by discussing different ways we can help our minds be healthy.
The children were so sensible in their discussions and were able to suggest some fantastic positive actions that could help us if we had sad feelings or thoughts. The children also thought about ways in which they could help others to feel good about themselves too.
The children finished off the lesson by completing an activity called ‘Helping Hearts’ where they had to think of ways they could help them self and others think positively and feel good.
