Year 5 proved to be extremely talented singers yesterday when we recorded our Christmas Album (available at all good Christmas Fayres) We managed to record 10 songs in 90 minutes which is an incredible achievement. - Children In Need
The nursery children have had a lovely morning participating in a range of ‘Children In Need’ activities. They made biscuits, finger painted a lovely Pudsey picture, decorated cakes and made toast. What a fun way to raise money for a good cause. n

How much fun can you have with a large cardboard box? Just ask the nursery children! This morning the children had great fun using their imagination to decorate and play with some large boxes. First it was a house, then a rocket, then a castle. What do you think it looks like?
- Fabulous Fireworks!
The reception children enjoyed pretending to be fireworks during their P.E lesson. They twirled, jumped and spun to music. Then they took it in turns to put on their very own firework display. Amazing! Well done.

- Baking Blackberry Tarts
At the start of term, some of the Year 2 children said they would like to make blackberry tarts, and to taste blackberries. So today, we did just that! The children have worked brilliantly this half term, and are looking forward to taking home a delicious treat to start their half term holiday.

- Harvest Service 2019
Today saw the whole school head to Pontlliw Village Hall for our annual Harvest Service. The children performed their individual songs brilliantly, led by the Year 6 pupils. The children made us extremely proud and showed just how talented a school we have. Da iawn!
- Budding Musicians
Year 5 are enjoying their music lessons every Thursday afternoon this half term. They are working their way through different notes and songs on the recorders. We could have some future orchestra superstars in the making on our hands…
- Supertatoes to the rescue!

- Outdoor Owl Collages
This week the Year 2 children enjoyed using natural materials to create owl collages, based on our book of the week ‘Owl Babies’. I think you’ll agree that the finished collages look fantastic, and the children showed super collaboration skills whilst working together on their creations.
