    Did you know a drawing can make beautiful music? Reception have been practising their pig drawing skills using ‘Music lab’.   • Year 2 Welsh Music and Fitness Session

    Today the Year 2 children thoroughly enjoyed participating in their Welsh music and fitness session, which was run by the company Ynni Da.

  • Painting Our Fossil Tiles

    This week the Year 2 children painted their clay fossil tiles. The detail of the dinosaur prints really showed up, and the children enjoyed comparing and discussing their designs.

  • Hat testing trial

    What better day to test our hats than on a cold winters day…most hats kept our heads warm. Pupils have learnt a lot about insulation and conducting heat and they applied their knowledge to real life situations. So much so, some are now wearing their hats to school on a daily basis.

  • Another Busy Day in Nursery.

    Super Welsh and ICT skills were shown by the Year 2 children this week. They enjoyed writing in Welsh about different fireworks that they like, and used paint tools online to create some very effective firework pictures.

    A huge ‘Thank You’ to everybody who supported our Scholastic book fair this week. The total spent was £789.30, which means we will receive 60% commission on all purchases!   • Lighthouse Junk Modelling

    The Year 2 children made some excellent junk model lighthouses this week. They were set the task of designing and creating model lighthouses that were at least 25cm high, with a working door and a light at the top.
