What a super day we have had at Morriston Fire Station! The children were given a tour and found out lots about the role of a firefighter. They loved seeing and learning about the fire engines and the different equipment that a firefighter might need. The children were even able to climb up into a fire engine and they also had a go at squirting the hose! Our visit also proved to be very exciting because whilst we were there, there was a real call out- the children loved seeing the firefighters in action and the engine leaving with flashing lights. A huge thank you to the staff at Morriston Fire Station for taking the time to teach us about the important role that they have- we have had an amazing morning!
