Year 5 spent Monday this week celebrating Earth Day. We learned all about plastic pollution and it’s effect on our planet. We wrote letters to our local MP to suggest things that could be put in place to help plastic pollution in our local area as well as across the UK. We had lots of excellent ideas including AI activated bins to avoid people putting rubbish in the wrong bins as well as how social media could be used positively to promote recycling globally.
