One of today’s activities was all about the life cycle of a sunflower. We began by looking at a time lapse video that showed the life cycle, then we created a range of movements to represent the different parts of the life cycle. We crouched down to look like a tiny seed, balanced on one leg with our arms stretched out to represent a seedling, stretched up high to represent the sunflower and we slowly bent forwards to represent the drooping sunflower dropping seeds. After we had practised each movements a few times, we put on some classical music and put the movements together to create a short sequence. Amazing! Da iawn boys and girls.
