Today was World Mental Health Day, and Dosbarth Cherry Blossom have been learning about recognising and dealing with their emotions. They participated in a range of different activities and also took part in a whole school assembly about improving your mental health. The activities included looking at their faces when acting out different emotions and drawing around their reflection on the mirror. They also played a game where they had to look at different faces and guess how they were feeling and why they might be feeling that way. Then they discussed different strategies they could use when feeling sad, angry or scared. They also made some delicious emotion biscuits. One with a sad face and one with a happy face.
