The children in Year 3 put their handmade musical instruments to work today and created a sound story. The first job they had to do was figure out how they could fit the sound of their instrument into a story – did it sound like rain? or thunder? or a heartbeat? They worked extremely hard in their little groups and their imaginations soared! They then ‘performed’ their sound story to their friends. This afternoon we used their stories as a focus in our dance lesson. Staying in their groups they created and acted out a dance to tell their story!
