Today, Year 6 have been recognising and discussing feelings in their PSE lesson. They have been finding out about empathy and know that it is the ability to “put yourself in someone else’s shoes”.

They listened to a short story and then, in groups, discussed and recorded the different emotions each character felt before, during and after a problem. They later created an ’emotional dictionary’ including a wide range of emotions and similes.
