The Year 2s have been looking at changes in streets and houses over time. We discussed how the Romans invented drains. The children were then set a challenge: work together as a group to transport the waste from a house, down a drain into a sewer! They worked brilliantly, and enjoyed testing different gradients and ways of moving the waste.
