INTENTE! (Attention!)
The Year 5 children had lots of fun this morning learning some Latin words and transforming into Roman soldiers. They now know how to stand to attention, relax, march in time and charge – which was their favourite! Try these words when they get home – Intente, Laxarte, Sin, Dex and Percute! They then spent time examining Roman barracks and learning about life as a soldier. What an awesome morning Year 5!
