In mathematics and numeracy, year 4 have been developing their understanding of data and charts. Today they had a go at creating their own Venn Diagrams where they had to sort a selection of objects they found outside using their own sorting criteria. They had to work as teams to decide what their criteria would be, and agree upon where each object should go. They the transferred this knowledge into the classroom by completing a number based sorting activity and even pushed themselves by sorting using a 3 part diagram. Excellent work year 4!
