Following on from their Santa candle investigation last week, the Year 2s received a letter from Mrs. Claus. She asked us to design Christmassy candle jars so that Santa can burn our candle safely. The children came up with some fantastic designs and followed the success criteria well. They enjoyed experimenting with various materials and tools. We will send copies of their designs to Santa so the elves can follow them to make lots of candle jars. The finished products looked fantastic, and the children enjoyed comparing and discussing their creations.
