Following on from their work on the stories ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’ and ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Picnic’, the Year 2s have been looking at the designs of lighthouses from around the world. They have been set a challenge of designing and making their own model lighthouses using a set criteria. They are looking forward to making their model lighthouses next week.
