Year 3 have been learning all about the ancient Egyptians and this week they learnt about Egyptian headdresses and headbands. These were worn by those who were deemed as important, such as gods and pharaohs. The children looked at examples of different headbands and headdresses and discussed the different designs and what they liked and disliked. Then they designed and make their own headband. Da iawn! They looked amazing!
