This week the Year 2s discussed how the lights on a lighthouse work. We chatted about circuits and electricity before the children were set a challenge: work with a partner to make the lightbulb light up. The children enjoyed trying out different circuits and they were delighted when they finally managed to make their bulbs glow! The children were keen to extend their learning and then moved on to making buzzers sound. Excellent exploring and problem solving Year 2!
