Finding out about Rainforest Tribes
Tagged Tags: , ,

Over the last week, the Year 3’s have been finding out about the people and settlements of the rainforest. We looked closely at the Yanomami tribe and spent time talking about their life in the rainforest and comparing it with our own lives. We also found out about how the Yanomami tribe celebrate special events, such as dancing and enjoying large feasts. They also decorate their faces with paint and put small sticks through their nose and chins! The children then enjoyed designing their own tribal face with different colour paint – well done Year 3!
