The Year 2 children have been investigating ramps this week. Different groups investigated different questions:
Does the height of a ramp affect the distance a car travels?
Does the surface of a ramp affect the distance a car travels?
Does the weight of a ramp affect the distance a car travels?
The children loved making predictions, measuring how far the car travelled and they recorded their results carefully. They were able to say why some results surprised them, and showed a super understanding of fair testing. The next step is for the children to produce charts on Hwb showing their data. What brilliant scientists we have in Year 2!
