This term the Year 2 children have enjoyed learning all about materials and their properties. Today the boys and girls worked on a waterproof materials investigation, where they were set the challenge of finding out which material would be the most suitable for making a tent. The children worked together to agree a method, created excellent labelled diagrams, they made super predictions using their previous learning and then recorded their observations carefully in a table. They confidently explained what their findings meant, and all agreed that plastic was the most suitable material for the purpose.
