The children in Year 3 had a fun filled afternoon exploring our outdoor environment today. Our Science topic this term is “Animals and Humans” so today we focussed on food chains. Each child had a clip board where they were able to record all of the different plants, bugs and creatures that they saw. We then came back to class and made food paper chains showing how each living thing was linked together – starting with the producer, then the primary consumer and then the secondary consumer.
