The year 2s were super scientists this week. We enjoyed reading a non-fiction book together on Get Epic about shadows. The children were then set a challenge: ‘How else could we make shadows?’. The children enjoyed making shadow puppets, and were then asked to see if they could find out how to make the shadows bigger and smaller. The boys and girls loved this hands-on activity and learned such a lot. They are now shadow experts!
