Today the Year 2 children enjoyed further developing their prediction skills. They were given lots of pictures from the story ‘The Little Yellow Leaf’ and, without reading the book first, the children had to work together to sequence the images and create their own stories. They looked closely at the illustrations for clues about the possible sequence, and they explained their stories confidently. They are looking forward to listening to the story tomorrow, before they then write their own interesting sequels.
