This week the Year 2 children have enjoyed using and further developing their research skills. As part of our termly topic, we read the story ‘Oi! Get Off Our Train!’, which tells us of the issues faced by five endangered animals as they all ask to get on a train to be saved. The children enjoyed using their research skills to find out about the elephant in the story. They used QR codes to access different websites, and read lots of non-fiction texts on Get Epic. They then worked together to write down their top ten favourite facts.
