Dosbarth Cherry Blossom were sunflower detectives again today and they wanted to find out what would make a good pot to plant their sunflower seeds in. They looked at cardboard tubes, egg boxes, yoghurt cartons, plastic cups, a wicker basket and a colander as well as many other things and discussed why they would, or would not make a good plant pot. Then they used iPads to research if all seeds needed pots or could some go straight into the ground. They also watched a video of someone making a plant pot out of paper and then attempted to make their own paper pot. Da iawn sunflower detectives! excellent work!
