This morning, we started reading a lovely story called ‘Pricklebum’s Amazing Adventure’. We talked about how hedgehogs are woodland animals and compared them to other animals that live in different habitats, listing all the animals we could think of and sorting them into an alphabet chart. The children then did lots of research about woodland animals using pictures, labels, riddles and interactive books on Get Epic. They used their developing reading skills very well, and worked effectively in pairs and groups. Super work Year 2!
