The children thoroughly enjoyed their trip today to Plantasia, a fantastic way to end our topic – Rainforests. We spent the first part of the day being treated to a very interesting talk from a lady who had recently visited the Amazon Rainforest. She had some amazing stories to tell us about the tribal people she met there and her exciting (and dangerous) experiences while there. The children were absolutely enthralled with her stories and listened intently to every word!

After lunch, the children had the opportunity to explore Plantasia and investigate all the plants and living things that can be found in each layer – it was very hot and humid but the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. What a fantastic day, thank you boys and girls for being so well behaved.
