The Year 2s enjoyed their first day back after Christmas, and participated in lots of activities as part of our ‘hook day’ for this term’s big question ‘How has our world changed?’. We began by developing smaller questions which will guide our learning throughout the term. We also used Atlases to recap what our world is like and where our place in the world is. We started to investigate using Google Earth, to look at what our world is like today, and we used our creative skills to make detailed paintings of the Earth, looking closely at the size and positions of the continents. Next week we will start to travel back in time to find out what the world used to look like. We cannot wait!
