The listening activity in nursery was a lot of fun today. The aim of the activity was to develop the children’s awareness of different sounds. They had to listen very carefully, to sounds made by various instruments. The activity included, comparing and matching sounds, playing instruments alongside a story and making loud and quiet sounds. They also practised their counting skills by counting how many different sounds they heard. It was a lovely, fun, noisy morning!
