We have been learning about ‘heroes’ from the past as part of our Big Question and this week, the children have been finding out about Florence Nightingale. They learnt that Florence was known as the Lady of the Lamp, therefore the children practised following instructions (which is one of our genres this term) to create their own lamps for Florence. What a super job they did too!
