We have been learning about ordinal numbers in our maths. The children were especially shocked to learn that a delicacy in France is frogs legs, so we had a frog race, recording which frogs managed to escape and come 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. We also read the book ’10 little rubber ducks’ by Eric Carle and enjoyed using the ‘hook a ducks’ outside to practise using our ordinal number vocabulary. We are looking forward to using our ordinal numbers during our Tour De France next week…
