This week we are furthering our understanding of Symmetry!
We started the week by discussing the terms symmetrical and asymmetrical and the term line of symmetry.
We then explored the properties of 2D shapes and discussed the number of lines of symmetry each shape had- we even looked at a decagon!
This morning the children then enjoyed creating their own symmetrical shapes using outdoor natural materials.
