The children started their day by activating their prior knowledge related to Space and Flight. Pupils read books on Get Epic and recalled the new information read. We then experimented the effect of gravity and flight. Pupils created paper planes and measured the distance of flight.

It might be worth arranging a trip to the Bristol Aerospace museum. They have exhibitions on flight including space.
