Year 3 Shape Hunt
Tagged Tags: , , , , ,

This week in maths, we have been consolidating our understanding of 3D shapes. The children really enjoyed their maths hunt around the school grounds where they had to find as many real life 3D objects as they could. The most popular shapes we found were cylinders but we couldn’t find many cones. When we got back to class, we discussed and compared our findings and recorded our observations in a table. Next week, we will be using this information to create bar graphs and pie charts.

Fantastic work Year 3!
