Following on from our work studying the Snatchabook, the Year 3’s decided to build a home outdoors for the Snatchabook in case it ever wanted to visit Pontlliw!
We started off by discussing the different types of natural materials that we would use and the importance of insuring our homes were weather resistant, strong and tailored towards our characters interests.
The children then worked in groups to build their very own Snatchabook homes and they enjoyed visiting all the groups homes to see what they had created and evaluate their designs!
The children were very creative and produced fantastic builds!
