Year 1 were very lucky to have a ‘real life superhero’ in class today. Due to us learning about Remembrance Day, Mr Commander came to speak to the children about his role as a paratrooper in the army. The children loved hearing about his experiences and seeing the various items he brought in. They were fascinated by the equipment and they loved seeing the special medals that he had received. A huge thank you to Mr Commander for such an interesting and informative session.
