Today we celebrated our victory of the Battle of Britain. The Battle of Britain is the name given to the World War II air campaign waged by the German Air Force against the United Kingdom during the summer and autumn of 1940. A lot of the day was built around discussion and research. It’s clear to see that the children are thoroughly enjoying this topic and seem to be doing extra homework; Most have their own stories on how the was has affected their own families.
We created victory flag, listened to triumphant songs (we are the champions) created art work and a timeline which informed others of important events that shaped our lives as we know them today.
