Today years 5 and 6 began their journey to develop strategies to build resilience and how to change our thoughts, feelings and actions. With the help of an amazing scheme called Bounce Back, children will further develop their positive mindset over the next 5 weeks and will be taught to change their negative thoughts and actions for the better. Children also discussed emotions (and that it’s ok to not be ok) and triggers. The scheme hosted by Action for Children works closely in conjunction with the Ospreys who will be delivering a series of rugby skills sessions as part of their workshops. What a lovely start to the week they have had!
