Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed a workshop today with Plant Life Cymru called ‘Every Flower Counts’.
The children learnt all about the different types of wildflowers and their importance in looking after our wildlife. We also learnt all about the steps we can take to look after the wildflowers.
The children enjoyed putting their understanding in to practice by playing the true or false yoga game based on different questions. They were then so excited after the workshop that we went out on to our school field and did a flower count and survey of the different wildflowers on our field!
