Today was the first day of our ‘Fairy Fortnight’. We put on our wellies and fairy headbands and followed the trail of pink fairy dust. It lead us to a little colourful fairy door, but the fairies were hiding. They left a note that said they had hidden some sparkly wands around the forest for us to find. We had lots of fun looking for the wands, then we had a game of hide and seek. Some of the children wore fairy masks and hid behind the trees and bushes, and their friends had to find them. We then had a lovely story about fairies before we went back to class for snack time. What a wonderful day! We can’t wait to go again tomorrow to see what the fairies have been doing.
