How Do You Learn Best?
Tagged Tags: , ,

There’s a famous quote that drives our teaching – “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn” (Benjamin Franklin).

Year 6 also love learning from their peers. They love using the app on HWB called Flip Grid. It’s an excellent tool to record and develop Oracy skills.

Today we completed a KWHL grid about Penguins:
What do we know?
What do we want to know?
How will I learn?
What have I learnt?

Pupils learnt best today by researching facts, independent reading, discussions, watching BBC Earth about Penguins, recording their facts and watching their peers on the big screen, sharing what they have also learnt about Penguins.

We also peer assessed online on Flip Grid.
