The nursery children made some amazing nature sculptures during this week’s Welly Wednesday. First, they had a look around the nature area to choose a stick. They needed to find a stick that was long and smooth. Then they looked for suitable leaves, ensuring that they had an assortment of different colourful leaves. The next job they had was to string the leaves on to their stick one at a time. They had to be very careful not to break the leaves. The children thoroughly enjoyed this activities and their sculptures looked fantastic!
