This week Year 2 have been learning about a special festival called Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights. Their dance lesson this week was based on this. They responded to music, making movements like they were preparing for the special event. During the dance they pretended they were cooking a special meal, cleaning the house, placing candles around the door and making Rangoli patterns. Ffantastig!
