Yesterday was World Mental Health Day! The Year 3’s marked this occasion by discussing what mental health meant to them and the different strategies that we can undertake to promote positive mental health for both ourselves and others.
The children were very sensible in their discussions and thought of excellent strategies to help them feel good such as exercise, carrying out their favourite hobbies and importantly talking to others and seeking support.
The children then thoroughly enjoyed undertaking the activity ‘helping heart’ where they chose their favourite strategies that could help themselves and others think positively and feel good.
