Year 3: Yoga and Mental Health Virtual sessions!

Year 3 have had a busy week this week undertaking lots of different activities linked to mental health!

Today, the children enjoyed a virtual session called Wild Worries which discussed key strategies that the children can use to help them if needing support e.g. breathing and grounding exercises! The children learnt about what happens to their bodies and how they feel when they are worried and how to help counteract this.

The children then had a yoga and mindfulness session provided by Swansea Libraries which again helped them learn strategies to relax and look after their mental health!
